Communications Plus Services

Communications Plus provides a large service area in around Austin and Corpus Christi. We can provide local telephone service, high-speed Internet connections via T-1, business phones and voice mail systems as well as full service support.

Discounts on Service:

We know that small businesses need all the breaks they can get. Sometimes big businesses too. So if you will write us a check for your service call and give it to the technician when he leaves, we will discount that service call 10%. Every little bit helps, right? Just be sure to ask for our COD discount.

Austin, Texas Service labor hourly rates for moves, add-ons and changes*:

During normal business hours (8 a.m.–5 p.m.)	$125
After 5 p.m. and Saturdays	$187.50
Sundays and holidays	$250
Remote maintenance/programming & testing (RMATS)	$50

Note: A one-time "trip charge" of $42.50 per service call will be added to the above labor rates, excepting RMATS. Materials necessary for repair and not subject to warranty are charged in addition to above rates.

Corpus Christi, Texas Service labor hourly rates for moves, add-ons and changes*:

During normal business hours (8 a.m.–5 p.m.)	$95
After 5 p.m. and Saturdays	$142.50
Sundays and holidays	$190
Remote maintenance/programming & testing (RMATS)	$50

*Note: A one-time “trip charge” of $20 per service call will be added to the above labor rates, excepting RMATS, for customers within a fifty mile radius. Drive time will be billed at the above rates for customers outside the fifty mile radius. Materials necessary for repair and not subject to warranty are charged in addition to above rates.

Voice and Data Cabling:

As a complete communications provider, Communications Plus is offering Structured Voice and Data Cabling. Our wiring technicians take great pride in their work. We have already earned a reputation as "the one to call" when you want the job done right the first time, on time, and at a fair price.

For most customers, the quality of a cabling job is difficult to determine. After all, most of the cabling is hidden in walls and ceilings. However, properly installed cabling will give you many years of excellent service. Cabling that is improperly installed, twisted, kinked, or laid too close to electrical equipment may work for a while, but can eventually cause serious problems with voice or data transmission, particularly as the speed of transmission continues to increase.

Communications Plus' expert craftsmen are experienced in all facets of cable design and installation – one of the reasons why a substantial portion of our cabling business is repeat business from satisfied customers who have experienced first-hand our dedication to excellence.

Training:

We believe that if you don't know how to use something, chances are pretty good that you aren't going to like it. We want all of our customers to like their telephone and voice mail systems, that is why we provide extensive training when we install a new system for you. We will customize our training to fit your needs, but generally provide group training for all of your employees. We want you to feel as comfortable as possible with the system and our service so that you can refer all your friends to us.

If you have a system that we service already installed, and would like additional training for new employees or would just like follow-up training, please call us. We provide free training as long as your system is under warranty or maintenance agreement. If not, check out our reasonable training fees. Remember, a properly trained user is a happy user.
